Ever heard from unbiblically evil lukewarm Worldy people, saying you have to give up all your dreams to follow God, that is not true.
A person who is reborn is submitted to Gods Spirit and will, and naturally will do Gods biddings, over Wordly desires and unbiblically Wordly things, as they love God more. Giving up Wordly unbiblically things will therefore come pretty naturally.
This applies likewise opposite sex if its a girl loving a guy, but show this example applying both genders, only opposite sex between man and girls is allowed:
Neither will God give you a woman if you are a guy you do not love, as he does not go against our free will. A man for example who falls in love in a girl, shall not need to hear from people, if the girl in current state misstreated him the guy who loves her, and also maybe she has no real true Biblically faith in God yet. Is it then right for people to say God will give you another woman. No its wrong. God can change the worst evildoers and make them pure and good.

The most convincing Scriptural argument against what is called "holy laughter" is found in Galatians 5:22-23.
